Chris's Crosses

A Christian Family Giving
We have setup our site, Chris's Crosses "A Christian Family Giving" in order to be a tool in our charitable efforts. We in no way are hoping for praise or accolades for the things we do, we just do them out of love and generosity. As a family, we enjoy helping others wherever possible. We hope you enjoy our stories and if you are so incline to join our philanthropic crusades, we invite you to do so, who knows you might even start your own? There is a world of hope waiting out there for many; even the smallest gifts can make a huge difference.

Ft. Davis Area Fire Relief

April 13th, 2011

I received an email this morning pertaining to the West Texas fires and particularly the fires in the Ft. Davis area. Please feel free to pass this information along to anyone and everyone.

Hi Friends! I am forwarding this email to you in hopes that you can help the people of Ft. Davis and spread the word to your friends.

Anne Hover

Everyone is asking for lists of what is needed for those dealing with the fires and devastation in our beloved Fort Davis area so here is a place to start.  Please consider helping if you can.  There have already been 40+ homes lost in the Fort Davis fires, and the items will be directly distributed to these families.  The need is immediate and critical!

We have one trailer that will leave Midland on Wednesday about 12pm and another that will leave Friday about 2pm. If you’d like to be a part of it contact me or drop off any items at 406 Carol Lane (take A Street north of the Loop, turn right on Solomon Lane, right on Pine Needle, then take the immediate dirt alley to the left). We are the second house on the right, pipe fence, and the carport is on the east side of the yard. It is the only place to turn in so should be easy for anyone. There will be a sign. Call me at 432-425-6095 if you have problems or questions!

Monetary donations are critical and always appreciated. You can choose to donate at any of the following:

- Jeff Davis County Relief Fund: PO Box 1809 Fort Davis TX 79734 Acct 321028 at Fort Davis State Bank  **These funds will go to the FAMILIES displaced and affected by the fires**
