Our ADD/ADHD Child
We received a call yesterday from the daycare stating that our child was having a bad day. This has been going on now for about a week. His normal daycare teacher has been out do to a death in her family and he has a substitute teacher for the time being. The problems seems to have started when the new teacher came in.
This particular child loves to have power struggles and we are wondering if this is what is going on with this teacher. We are taking him in for an ADD/ADHD evaluation this afternoon. We are worried that they ill suggest he needs to be on medicine. We are not found of this idea but he needs to be able to deal with his emotions and we are not sure what else to do. If you have any experience with this type of behavior, plese help us out and post a reply.
